Siemens sent an Urgent Medical Device Correction letter dated March 2016, to all affected customers. The letter was sent to the US customers via Fed Ex beginning on March 30, 2016., and were e-mailed dated March 20, 2016, to regional countries for implementation outside the US. Field service personnel were sent a support bulletin describing the issue and instructing them how to manage customer questions. " Complete and return the Field Correction Effectiveness Check form attached to this letter within 30 days. " Please review this letter with your Medical Director. Please retain this letter with your laboratory records, and forward this letter to those who may have received this product. We apologize for the inconvenience this situation may cause.
